After years of teaching workshops I think I’ve found the most common things students don’t do correctly on the Dobro. If you don’t get them straightened out they become almost impossible to eradicate. If you’re reading this I bet you are doing at least some of these common mistakes. So, stop in your tracks and fix the bad technique now and turn even simple licks and songs into professional sounding Dobro playing.

There are some very simple reasons Mike, Jerry, Rob etc. sound great beyond the slick licks they play. This is a very important lesson.
